FAQs
We hope to answer your questions here but always message us if you have any questions or concerns.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is Formal Summer

Chicos: lightweight summer suits, ties & smart shoes

Chicas: vibrant - colourful outfits, bold patterns, heels/sandals*

After all, A Coruña is the birthplace of the Inditex Group (i.e. Zara’s holding group), so if you want to, embrace the Spanish flair!

*note on footwear: the ground at the venue is largely made up of gravel and stone slabs so don’t worry about muddy grass ruining your shoes
What will the weather be like?
Galicia is notorious for changeable weather unlike other parts of Mediterranean/arid Spain. By June, we expect a glorious, warm day around 20-25C, but be prepared to pack a jacket/shawl just in case. If the weather were to take a turn, we have an indoor plan B - fear not!

Even in summer, Galicians never leave the house without a cardigan for the evening.
Can I bring a plus-one?
As much as we would love to have everyone, we are unable to accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the invitation due to venue constraints.
What time should I arrive?
As this is a day wedding, the ceremony will likely start in the early afternoon but exact timings will be communicated closer to the date.
What are the accommodation options?
The venue is a 20-minute taxi ride from A Coruña city centre, we advise to stay in and around the city for ease of transport. Feel free to check out our list of Airbnbs & hotel recommendations for more information.
What airport should I fly into?
There are two airports A Coruña (LCG) and Santiago de Compostela (SQC) to consider.

Flying into A Coruña is much easier if you intend to stay in the city. The airport is only a 20 minute drive from the city centre. However, flights are less frequent and not always direct from London or elsewhere.

Santiago de Compostela is a larger airport with more international flights and variety of Vueling and Ryanair options. Santiago Airport is a 45-minute drive without direct public transport links to A Coruña so we advise to rent a car or to get a taxi.
Will there be a registry?
It was our choice to organise a wedding abroad, and as such, we are very grateful for your generosity and commitment to celebrating this special day with us. Our present is your attendance so we won’t be sharing a wedding registry or expecting any gifts - unless you really want to give us something ;)
