Airport Links

There are two main airport you can fly into: A Coruña (LCG) and Santiago (SQC).

A Coruña is a smaller local airport, about a 20 minute drive from the city centre. This is arguably the easiest option in terms of proximity, but international flights are less frequent. Since we last checked, there are currently few direct options from London/other major international airports in June. Vueling occasionally add more seasonal flights closer to the time so it may be a good idea to hold off booking for a few months and re-assess options in the New Year.

Santiago Airport (SQS) is a larger airport approximately 45 minutes drive from A Coruña. There are more regular international flights but public transport links from the airport to A Coruña are limited. We would recommend pairing up to split a taxi ride or to hire a car. If you’d like to extend your stay, Santiago is a beautiful city with lots of rich history and very much worth a visit. You can get a train very easily from Santiago city centre to A Coruña.

Accomodation

There is no on-site accommodation at the venue and few hotel options in the nearby area so we recommend to stay in A Coruña. It’s a vibrant city with a great atmosphere, with beaches, bars & restaurants all in walking distance. Orzan, Riazor, Ciudad Vieja, Pescaderia are all well-connected areas with charming plazas, restaurants and a promenade connecting the entire coastline of the city.

The Pazo de Vilaboa is around a 20 minute taxi ride from A Coruña city centre. You shouldn't have any problem finding a taxi in the day and we can help you plan your way back home closer to the time.
